Our guest today is the German designer Sebastian Herkner. He studied product design at the HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design and already concentrated on designing objects and furniture during his studies. He worked for Stella McCartney in London before finally setting up his own design studio. Since then, Sebastian Herkner has been designing furniture, lighting and objects for renowned brands such as Thonet, Fritz Hansen, Moroso and Zanotta, as well as realizing projects in the fields of interior design and museum and exhibition design. His work has already won countless awards and major design museums – such as Die Neue Sammlung München and the Vitra Design Museum – have included his designs in their collections.
