We welcome renowned garden designer and founder of the Royal Garden Academy Gabriella Pape to today’s episode of Chapter Talks. Born in Hamburg, she studied Biological Dynamic Agriculture and Landscape Architecture in the UK and was awarded the Silver Gilt Medal for her show garden design at the Chelsea Flower Show. In 2008, she founded the Royal Garden Academy in Berlin, a multifaceted garden center that attracts numerous visitors every year. In an interview with Chapter, she describes how English gardens have shaped her own garden philosophy, the challenges she has had to face as a female entrepreneur and the extent to which the garden is gaining in importance in times of pandemic and climate crisis.
