25 years ago, A. Lange Söhne presented the DATOGRAPH, the first chronograph since the revival of the brand by the legendary Walter Lange in 1990. It was a masterpiece of watchmaking that combined highly sophisticated functions with a well-balanced dial design and represented an important milestone for the renowned German watch manufacturer. As the highlight of the anniversary year 2024, A. Lange Söhne is now presenting the DATOGRAPH HANDWERKSKUNST – a special edition limited to 25 pieces that also reflects the brand’s constant endeavor to raise artistic craftsmanship to an even higher level. For Chapter TV, Tino Bobe, Director of Manufacturing at A. Lange Söhne, introduces the DATOGRAPH HANDWERKSKUNST and presents some of the most fascinating details, such as the particularly elaborate hand-finished dial and movement decorations.
