We are delighted to welcome the internationally successful graphic designer and artist Eike König as our guest for this episode. Since 1994, Eike König has headed the creative collective HORT, which he founded and which initially became known for its work for the music industry. The multidisciplinary design studio now also counts international brands such as Nike, Volkswagen, Disney, Microsoft and the New York Times among its clients. In his free artistic work, Eike König is particularly known for his supposedly striking messages. He uses typography, pop art and contemporary design techniques. Eike König also currently teaches graphic design and illustration at the Offenbach University of Art and Design. In an in-depth interview, he explains, among other things, why he attributes his success to constant hard work, why his artistic and commercial work is closely intertwined – and, of course, why the revolution unfortunately has to be postponed.
