With the Land-Dweller<\/em>, Rolex<\/a> is presenting a completely new collection as part of Watches & Wonders<\/a> 2025, which not only scores points with a fresh Oyster design, new bracelet, honeycomb dial and several patents: Inside the case, which is inspired by one of the brand’s historic<\/a> quartz watches (!), ticks the brand new in-house caliber 7135<\/em>.<\/p>\n

CARTIER<\/p>\n

Cartier<\/a> can create unique aesthetics and proves this with the Priv\u00e9 Tank \u00e0 Guichets<\/em>. First presented in 1928, this square timepiece still stands out in 2025 with its minimalist and avant-garde appearance. You will look in vain for hands: two disks show the hours and minutes in small, window-like cut-outs.<\/p>\n

BULGARI<\/p>\n

Hardly a year goes by without Bulgari<\/a> setting a new world record for ultra-thin watches. At\u00a0 Watches & Wonders<\/a> 2025, the time has come again: at 1.85 millimetres, the Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon<\/em>\u00a0 is currently the thinnest mechanical watch with a tourbillon. There will only be 20 of them.<\/p>\n

HUBLOT<\/p>\n

With the Big Bang 20th Anniversary Titanium Ceramic<\/em>, Hublot<\/a>\u2014Nomen est Omen\u2014is celebrating the 20th birthday of its most important model, the Big Bang. The chronograph is made of titanium and ceramic. Another of the brand’s specialties from the very beginning: Combining possible and impossible materials.<\/p>\n

PATEK PHILIPPE<\/p>\n

Patek Philippe<\/a> launched its first new collection in 25 years last year with the Cubitus<\/em>. The square, \u00bbelegant and sporty\u00ab watch caused a lot of discussion. Smaller versions were added at Watches and Wonders<\/em>. Patek is thus following the megatrend towards wearable unisex case sizes.<\/p>\n

VACHERON CONSTANTIN<\/p>\n

The watch manufacturer Vacheron Constantin<\/a> has now been in operation for 270 years. This is being celebrated at Watches & Wonders<\/a> 2025 with the Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication\u2014La Premi\u00e8re<\/em>, officially the most complicated wristwatch in the world: 41 complications and a total of 1521 components have been installed.<\/p>\n

IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN<\/p>\n

IWC Schaffhausen<\/a> presents the Ingenieur Automatic 42 <\/em>in a new look in Geneva: The classic, which goes back to the legendary designer G\u00e9rald Genta, now wears black ceramic. Inside the Ingenieur<\/em>\u00a0 ticks the in-house automatic caliber 82110<\/em>.<\/p>\n

CHANEL<\/p>\n

Speaking of a new dress: Chanel<\/a> is also giving its J12<\/em> a new look for its 25th anniversary. The J12 Bleu<\/em>\u00a0 \u00a0combines the expertise of the Chanel manufacture with an exclusive color\u2014a deep, matt blue. It took five years of research to develop this color. Nine new models were dipped in the color.<\/p>\n

A. LANGE & S\u00d6HNE<\/p>\n

At the Geneva watch fair, the Saxon manufacturer A. Lange & S\u00f6hne<\/a> is presenting the sporty and elegant Odysseus<\/em>\u00a0 in a new case made from the company’s own precious metal alloy called honeygold<\/em>. It houses the manufacture caliber L155.1 Datomatic<\/em>, which was specially developed for the Odysseus.<\/p>\n

NOMOS<\/p>\n

Let’s stay in Saxony: The first world time watch from Nomos Glash\u00fctte<\/a> is called Club Sport Neomatik Weltzeit<\/em>. It is equipped with the new manufacture caliber DUW 3202<\/em>, which is only 4.8 millimeters thick. The case of the timepiece measures 9.9 millimeters, making it perhaps the slimmest world timer in the world.<\/p>\n

CHOPARD<\/p>\n

Fast-swinging lightweight: The Alpine Eagle 41 SL Cadence 8HF<\/em>\u00a0 from Chopard<\/a> is made from a lightweight ceramic-titanium blend. A glance through the anti-reflective sapphire crystal back reveals the Chopard 01.14-C caliber<\/em>, an automatic high-frequency movement that operates at 8 hertz\u2014a rarity in haute horlogerie.<\/p>\n

GRAND SEIKO<\/p>\n

The most accurate wristwatch in the world comes from the Far East. This is made possible by the Spring Drive Caliber 9RB2<\/em>\u00a0 \u00a0developed by Grand Seiko<\/a>, which bears the new U.F.A. designation for Ultra Fine Accuracy<\/em>. Its rate accuracy is plus\/minus 20 seconds\u2014per year. Among others, it ticks in SLGB001<\/em>, a watch from the Evolution 9<\/em> collection. [MM]<\/i><\/p>\n
